A Specification To Meet Your Needs

New Holland has long recognised the need to offer customers a broad choice within a tractor series. All T5000 models can be specified to suit the differing demands of livestock and smaller farm users through to large farm and contract operations. Customers looking for a T5000 class of tractor have a common demand for a smaller but still versatile unit. By offering a choice of transmission, hydraulic output, 2WD or 4WD drive and cab and ROPS variants, New Holland has a T5000 tractor with a specification to meet every need.

 
Brilliant Agility And High Capacity

The new high specification driven front axle on T5000 tractors has a class leading 60 degree turn angle. This gives these tractors a turn radius as low as 4050mm.

There is no compromise in capacity either, a heavy-duty front axle coming as standard on the complete T5000 range. No other tractor in this class combines so much agility and strength.

Stability And Safety In Transport

A modern tractor has to be safe and stable at higher transports speeds. All T5000 models can be specified with a 40kph transmission with front axle brakes and the dynamic ride control on EDC as further options.

Full Traction For Maximum Productivity

The new front axle on four-wheel drive T5000 tractors allows a choice of either a fully locking differential or limited slip. The fully locking differential ensures full power is delivered equally to both front wheels in adverse conditions. Linked to the locking rear differential, the system ensures power reaches all wheels for optimum traction.

Engine

All T5000 tractors are powered by New Holland NEF turbocharged 4.5 litre four-cylinder engines with advanced intercooling. They offer exceptional performance. Just look at the increase in power and torque when compared to the outgoing TL-A Series. Power of the T5060 is up 5% over the TL100A and torque climbs a massive 15% from 370Nm to 425Nm. Economically is also improved with fuel consumption dropping as low as 216g/kWh for the T5050. To extend daily endurance the fuel tank for the T5050 and T5060 has a capacity of 167 litres. Longer Service Intervals. Shorter Bills

All T5000 models are engineered to have 600 hour engine service intervals using conventional oils. This is the longest routine service interval in the industry, and 20% longer than the standard 500 hours offered by leading competitive designs. Ready For 100% Biodiesel

All T5000 tractors will run on B20 Biodiesel without modification. Once fitted with a suitable filter kit, all current production New Holland engines, including those with advanced Common Rail fuel injection, can run on 100% Biodiesel. Shift Ratios With Power Clutch

Series T5000 tractors specified with the 24x24 Dual Command™ transmission are offered with a Power Clutch option that operates the clutch without the need to use the floor pedal.

Operated via a push button on the main transmission lever, Power Clutch can be used to shift through the 8 speeds in each of the three main ranges.

When baling or mowing, swapping to a higher or lower speed is made faster and easier for seamless productivity.

Putting The Operator At The Heart Of The Tractor

When looking over a T5000 tractor, it will become clear that the operator is put at the heart of the design. Offering a spacious flat floor with suspended pedals.

All controls are ergonomically positioned to make it easy not just to reach them but find and operate them too. Even the rear window can be positioned to allow control box cables to access the cab easily.

Cab models have slim pillars to allow the operator to see all-round. There is a massive 5.3m2 of glazing in the cab, so it should be no surprise that a T5000 tractor fitted with a loader offers great visibility throughout the lifting range.

Other features that can be fitted include fender mounted linkage and PTO controls, a wide choice of seating options and air conditioning.

A Fresh, Bright Interior

Step into the cab of a T5000 tractor and the development over the outgoing TL-A Series is clear. The interior is finished in a lighter colour, and the dash features new dials that are even clearer and easy to read. Standard features include turn indicator warning buzzer, low fuel level warning light and a digital display of the tractor speed and driver reminder services intervals are due.

Adjusts To Suit The Operator

In addition to offering a full range of seating positions, T5000 tractors have a steering column that adjusts the wheel for both angle and reach. This is an important T5000 advantage as it genuinely enables operators of all sizes to get comfortable.

Performance Monitor For More Information

The comprehensive main dash can be fitted with a Performance Monitor.

This adds details to include area worked, distance travelled, hours completed in a day and area covered per hour.

In addition, the monitor will show wheel slip and the rear PTO speed.

The tractor’s maintenance programme lists details that include hours to the next service and battery voltage.

Mechanical or Electronic? You Choose

Series T5000 tractors can be specified with a choice of mechanical or electronic draft control.

The mechanical system uses Flexion Bar™ lower link sensing for precise draft control and comes as standard with the Lift-O-Matic™ system.

This proven New Holland system will lift and return an implement to work using a single control.

The EDC electronic draft control option benefits from a newly designed layout that is similar to that used in the outstanding T6000 tractor series. The main raise lower control is positioned within a simple quadrant that is comfortable and easy to use. A single raise-lower switch makes it simple to lift and return an implement to work during a headland turn.

Optimised For PTO Work

The rear PTO has an independent driveline to ensure maximum power passes to the implement.

Optional rear fender PTO buttons allows stop and start control from either side.

Robust and easy to operate, the PTO is offered with ground speed and 540, 540E and 1000 with an in-cab speed selector. Both 6- and 21-spline PTO shafts are available.

Soft Start To Protect You PTO And Implements

New Holland introduced Soft Start PTO engagement to help protect both the tractor and implement.

Now well proven, the Soft Start option on T5000 models modulates the engagement of drive to prevent sudden shock loads transferring to the implement. This helps reduce maintenance costs, reliably engaging drive time after time.
