New Holland T6000 Plus tractors have been specially developed to meet the demands of forward thinking livestock farmers and arable customers.

The entry level specification is aimed at meeting the majority of customer needs. It includes a 40kph 16x16 Active Electro Command™ transmission with Powershuttle, a powerful closed centre hydraulic system and an air conditioned Horizon cab.

The Plus specification can be further enhanced to include 16x16 Active Electro Command™ 50kph transport speed, Terraglide™ front axles and Comfort Ride™ cab suspension and pneumatic trailer braking.

T6000 Plus models are powered by two-valve, mechanical injection power units.

The five model T6000 Plus range covers 101 to 141hp(CV), with a choice of four and six-cylinder power.

Year round visibility, year round productivity

Whatever the task, good visibility makes it easier. The Horizon™ cabs fitted to New Holland T6000 Plus tractors offer the operator the best possible vision for field or yard work.

A full size passenger seat is fitted as standard.

Exceptional ventilation, with binnacle mounted vents as standard, are part of the T6000 Plus package. Air conditioning is standard, ideal for keeping the screen clear in winter and the operator cool in summer.

All Series T6000 tractors are designed to operate with any front loader range.

The cab on all models incorporates a high visibility roof panel.

When working with a loader, the operator is able to see a load as it is raised to its full lift height.

This is combined with good all round visibility for optimum productivity and safety.

Fully glazed acoustic profile doors

Curved to deflect sound away from the cab interior and provide exceptional strength, the fully glazed doors hinge at the rear of the cab. This four-pillar design gives an uninterrupted view to the sides.

Opening wide for obstruction free cab access, the doors have conveniently located grab handles to make it a simple task to close them when seated.
 
For ultimate comfort

To further enhance the exceptionally high comfort levels of Series T6000 Plus tractors, New Holland offers Terraglide™ front axle suspension and Comfort Ride™ cab suspension.

Available individually or together, these suspension systems are an integral part of the tractors original design.

Terraglide™ is standard on all models specified with a 50kph transmission. Comfort Ride™ and Terraglide™ combined for best in class comfort.

Smooth, clean and economical power

T6000 Plus tractors are offered with a choice of advanced two-valve four and six-cylinder engines.

To reduce noise levels, the timing gears are mounted inside a cast casing with the heavy-duty structural sump reducing vibration resonance. This makes the engines extremely quiet and smooth running.

They are fuel efficient too, with mechanical fuel injection suiting varied engine speed applications, such as yard and transport work, as well as providing excellent performance in duties as wide ranging as mowing and baling through to cultivation and drilling. One word says it all. Outstanding.

Tailored to match general use

All T6000 Plus models are powered by two-valve per cylinder engines with mechanical fuel injection.

Developed to operate effectively at low operating speeds, such as in loader and yard work, these engines also deliver excellent in-field performance for brilliant all-round versatility.

Reduced whole life operating costs

Service intervals on T6000 tractors are set at 600 hour intervals. This reduces downtime and operating costs.

Of equal importance, the use of high performance non synthetic engine oil and fuel filters helps protect the engine from the moment it is started.

 
Ready for work in every environment

The two-valve T6000 Plus power units are designed to reach their operating temperature quickly. This reduces engine wear in stop-start applications.

Advanced cooling retains an even operating temperature, helping ensure optimum efficiency is maintained throughout the year.

T6000 - the clean energy leader

All T6000 tractors are factory approved to run on 20% B20 Biodiesel fuels. By fitting the Biodiesel engine kit and following a specific maintenance programme, the T6000 Plus version can also be run on 100% B100 Biodiesel fuels.

New Holland was the first agricultural manufacturer to fully endorse the use of biodiesel in its power units. This follows extensive testing, which encompassed all aspects of engine performance including fuel efficiency, fuel pump and engine wear, cold temperature starting performance and effect upon service intervals. Active Electro Command Transmissions

Electro Command™ transmission with Powershuttle is a semi-powershift transmission. The operator can select eight speeds via up and down shift buttons on the control lever.

A third button selects the range change. This enables the operator to select up to eight speeds without using the clutch.

A large display clearly shows the gear selected. The Powershuttle on Electro Command™ transmissions can be operated in a “memory” mode. For convenience, the transmission will automatically remember and use the last forward and last reverse gear selected.

IntelliShift™ transmission management determines the speed at which the transmission clutch packs engage and release. Under heavy load, faster shifts are made. Under light load, the clutch packs are modulated to provide a smoother shift.

T6000 Plus. The definition of modern versatility

When designing the cab for T6000 Plus tractors, New Holland placed great importance on getting the control layout just right.

Unlike some cab designs, this operator focus applies to all specification and cab variants. Controls are all user friendly and “hands on”. You do not have to use any complicated screens to make adjustments. If you want to adjust your rear linkage settings just turn the clearly marked dials, control kept simple.

Hydraulic muscle and PTO flexibility

T6000 Plus models specified with an Electro Command™ transmission feature closed centre hydraulics (CCLS) as standard. At the heart of the system is a load sensing, variable displacement piston pump.This delivers enough oil for any task but does away with the power losses associated with a traditional system. Up to 113l/min can be produced, with 95l/min available at a single remote valve.

All models benefit from a dedicated 40l/min steering pump. Regardless of engine speed or hydraulic load, full power to the steering circuit is maintained.
 
Electro-hydraulic PTO

A dedicated multi-plate wet clutch pack engages drive to the PTO. An automatic soft start system modulates the PTO clutch pack engagement according to the load, ensuring a smooth uptake of power.

T6000 Plus models have 540-540E- 1000 PTO speeds as standard.
 
Configurable remote valves

T6000 Plus tractors are available with four rear remote valves. All remote valves have flow controls and selected valves can be individually configured to suit the application. For example; set to constant pump, set to operate with no detents and set to a motor mode. Such features are usually only obtained with higher cost electronic valves.

The leader in manoeuvrability and traction
 
Three driven front axle designs are offered on T6000 tractors; standard, SuperSteer™ and Terraglide™. The standard axle has a 55 degree turn angle. This offers a turn radius as low as 4.04m without brakes. Terraglide™ axles offer the same tight turn radius with the benefit of suspension.

For maximum manoeuvrability, SuperSteer™ axles reduce the turn radius to 3.76m. This is ideal for rowcrop work. Front axle brakes are available on standard and Terraglide™ axles.

Tight turns are just part of the story. SuperSteer™ front axles

The unique New Holland SuperSteer™ front axle dramatically reduces the turn radius of the tractor. The front axle beam turns with the wheels to give an effective turn angle of 65 degrees. The tractor turns tighter and faster so you spend less time turning and more time working. The SuperSteer™ front axle also increases the wheelbase, with the weight of the front ballast resting directly on the from axle beam. Traction is enhanced in certain conditions without the need for extra ballast.

Terraglide™ suspension for stability and traction

Offering improved stability, the Terraglide™ front axle suspension system is well proven.

In the field, the suspended axle helps ensure that the front wheels retain close contact to the ground for stability and traction, particularly in applications such as high speed cultivation, top dressing and spraying.

Fast Steer™ system does exactly what it says

Perfect for fast headland turns or loading in a confined area, the unique New Holland Fast Steer™ system is available on all Series T6000 Plus tractors. This system enables the operator to make a full lock to lock turn with minimal steering effort. This is achieved by simply pressing the inner Fast Steer rim. Automatically deactivated at speeds above 10kph, the Fast Steer™ system dramatically reduces the time it takes to manoeuvre the tractor, reducing fatigue and boosting productivity.
 
Terralock™ traction management

Terralock™ traction management can be set to automatically manage the engagement and release of 4WD and the front and rear differentials.

As a turn is made, Terralock™ traction management can release the differentials and disengage 4WD, re-engaging both as the tractor returns to work. Terralock™ traction management works with both trailed and mounted equipment.
